Our “Born Asleep” Sculpture is now in place at St. Michael’s cemetery in Dumfries. It was made by local artist Lynda Burns from Dalbeattie. It has been a few months in the making but well worth waiting for. Its beautiful and will hopefully bring comfort to bereaved parents when visiting the cemetery.

 

 

Lynda managed to find Dalbeattie builder Michael Gafney and son to  build the enclosing wall from Sandstone and all for no charge for his labour and materials.
