An Amazing Year Of Charity Events Organised By Grant & Lisa Seaton And Their Friends Raises £5,512
We were the lucky recipients of a cheque for £5,512 from Grant and Lisa Seaton, following a year of fundraising by them in memory of their son Oliver who sadly died in 2013.
Grant writes, “the events included a coffee morning, Edinburgh Half Marathon, The Great Swim, Walking the Annandale Way, The Great North Run, a Grand Prize Draw, an Online Auction and a Choir Night with Anava Singers. Many thanks to everybody that contributed towards the funds raised. You are all amazing. Special thanks to the following people – Lesley-Ann Johnstone for raising 1,060 of the total raised. Anava Singers Marion Seaton for the £574 raised. Wendy Stuart Hamilton Shona Dalton Kerry-Anne Hawkins and the rest of the troops for helping out at the Coffee Morning. Granny, Lyndsay Maxwell and Ruth Allen for throwing yourselves in Lake Windermere for the Great Swim. All the Annandale Way Walkers and special thanks to Jemma Dinnell Leah Clark Belford and Morag Kell for setting our pace on the walk. To all the donators of prizes and auction items, especially Cammy Bell for the signed Gloves. You are all awesome.
The funds raised will go to help sustain the local SANDS Group and which we now have a real affinity with. I know they will be really appreciative of the funds and will put them to good use.”
