DG Sands working with D&G Council to create a designated baby memorial at St Michaels
D&G Sands are working in conjunction with the Council to create a designated baby memorial garden at the current St. Michaels site. The plan is to create a peaceful, attractive garden where parents can go to gently remember their sadly lost baby. The plan is to improve the site and provide more areas where name plaques can be placed as the current site is almost filled up. There will be nothing placed on top of current burial sites.
Other Sands groups have been very successful in creating a beautiful memorial garden within the free ground provided by the council. Worked on proposals will be posted the website. We hope that all parents support the much needed improvements and welcome the joint work with the council as a positive step for all bereaved families.
